A Very Happy Home

The board & care of my horse, Greta at Storeybrook Farm is top-notch! It has been a joy to have Olivia as barn manager/ owner, she is friendly, reasonable and puts the wellbeing of the horses first.

When Greta first arrived she was not accustomed to grass turnout. Olivia was so helpful with the grass introduction process – from increasing her turnout at a slow and consistent pace to monitoring her in the barn to be sure the change in her diet was not causing her any distress. The entire process could not have been made easier! When it came time to find Greta a pasture mate, Olivia helped with the hand grazing in the paddock to ensure they got along first.

Greta’s stall is always thick with shavings, her fan on to keep her cool and bug-free, and the nest system has captured some of her most serene moments. I know Greta is receiving the best care and is her happiest here. For me not having to worry about the care of my horse makes my time spent with her that much more enjoyable. I am so happy to have found Storeybrook!
